Yes. Community Hands Foundation is a registered Public Benefit Organisation, and we issue Section 18A tax certificates for all eligible donations. South African taxpayers can deduct donations from their taxable income.

87% of all funds go directly to our four program pillars: hunger relief, clothing support, education and recovery. The remainder covers essential operations and fundraising. Our audited financials are published annually.

Absolutely! Most of our volunteer roles — serving meals, packing parcels, sorting clothing — require no special skills, just a willing heart. If you do have professional skills (teaching, counselling, accounting), we have specialised roles too.
